Heroism, Leadership, Sacrifice and Comradeship are qualities to do with war. What do they mean?
Heroism-Bravery/Courage.
Leadership-Directing/Trusting.
Sacrifice-Giving/Surrender.
Comradeship-Friendship/Fellowship.

Why is the poppy used as the flower for ANZAC?
To remember the soldiers who died at WW1/WW2

How is ANZAC day remembered in our town?
We have Ceremonies and Parades to remember the people who died at WW1/WW2

How could having a mascot help?
They helped people travel to places.

Were they able to bring them home?
The soldiers found them wandering around the scary battlefields

What sort of mascots did they have?
Dogs, Birds, Cats, Donkeys, Goats, and Monkeys.

Soldiers went overseas to fight. All the women and children and some men stayed at home.
How were these peoples lives affected by the war? What sort of things did they have to do while the men were away fighting?

Their lives were affected and they had to do all of the peoples chores and feed the children.
