Haunted House!!!

Once upon a time there were two men Bob & Johnny they were building a Haunted house as they were building it they heard a CRACK in the ceiling they looked outside to see where it was coming from. There was a tornado.

The tornado ripped the roof of the house and suddenly the tornado wrecked the whole town it simmered into the one and only haunted house. Then they heard a BLAST from inside the house it started walking towards Bob & Johnny…

As they walked backwards they found an sledgehammer they picked up the sledgehammer they sprinted towards the mighty monster house!! They threw the sledgehammer with all their strength and might it hit him right in the steaming chimney.

All of a sudden the monster house blew up into 100’s of pieces. They thought world tipped upside down. They got back to work and did another house and that’s how it ended…

My Holiday

MY HOLIDAY

In the first week of the Holidays I went to my Nana and Poppa’s house with my best friend Kieran on the way there we were playing on my PSP playing Motocross.We were a Rally car. Then we stopped at we toilets. After we were heading to Waihi where they live.As we went up the gravel road to there house I heard the rocks spitting on the car.

Finally we got there.Firstly we put our bags up stairs then came back down to give Nana a hug only me. Then we heard Poppa on the Quad Bike we look out the window and yelled HI POPPA as he was coming to the house we hopped on the back of the trailer to             go down to the Bulls as we went I yelled BYE MUM.

We were going 100km it was really fast down the gravel as we approached the shed I opened the rusted gate to the loud Bulls. As we drove in the Bulls were yelling at us they wanted the itchy  hay in the trailer. We chucked some hay out to 59 BULLS that’s alot then we came up to the house SPEEDING 100KM again.

When we got home we got into our togs and BOMBED into the SPA BATH it was steaming hot like lava. Nana popped up with bubbles                      we yelled Ahh she poured the slimy bubbles into the bath suddenly the all popped up to the surface of the water we tried to pop the giant bubbles. We couldn't pop the bubbles so we put the Jets on the did the trick. Then we chilled in the corner on the slimy bubbles.Then we had to get out.We rushed up stairs to the bathroom to get dressed I chucked on my t-shirt and shorts as well as Kieran we raced downstairs for lunch we had salad burgers and juice we scoffed it up.

After we went on the Quad bike again to feed out only to the Horses,Cows and Calfs we fed them lots of hay thier down in the Valley in the grassy paddocks.Then we came back up.We were there for 5 hours playing in the river I said to Nana.We were soaking wet.We thumped up the stairs to get dressed again by that time we got dressed 3 times today.

Then we had dinner we had to have it at the Flat White Cafe we had the same thing Fish and Chips as well as L&P.Then we had dessert we were lucky we had a little tub of Ice Cream.Then we went home it was 8 o’clock at night.When we got home we put our PJs on and jumped into bed that was the end of my AWESOME day

Father's Day

As I wake up I automatically  made Breakfast I was making my muesli as I pour my milk I remember oh no it’s Father’s Day. Oh hi Ella IT’S FATHER’S DAY, I FORGOT I said. I know said Ella you knew you could of told me. what do you mean YOU FORGOT!!

We hear Dad coming down the stairs. AH HA I've got it let’s make breakfast for him. Ella says too late he’s here. Hi Dad, What are you doing up so early it’s Father’s day? Oh I was seeing were all the racket was coming from. Okay i’m going back to bed says Dad.

WOW!!! that was close I say. As soon as I spin around Dad’s toast pops up HOW DID YOU DO THAT Ella you were fast like lightning!! As I open the fridge the butter and the jam is at the top of the fridge as I go to grab it it slip’s down on to me. Ha Ha says Ella.

It spilt all over me!! I say. I place it on the bench. we wait for Mum to come down. About 2 mins later Mum came down. Come on guys we need to go to get a present for Dad you mean we didn't get him a present YES!!! we didn’t get him one let’s GO NOW as we jump in the car I open the door OW!! What happened honey Mum said I scraped my knee OH NO I said you stay at Mum said OK Mum. I hear the car start up I snuggle into the couch. then I hear the door open Ahhhh what are you doing I heard the door open oh ok.

Let’s wake Dad up ok. As we creep upstairs I open the door BOO!!!! Ahhhh says Dad. What have you got there Max we bought you a present. Thanks guys wow a John Key book thanks and apart from that that was my pretty cool day!!

Balloon Rockets!!

On Tuesday we did a experiment about Balloon Rockets. We had some string a straw and a Balloon first we blew the Balloon up then we held the straw on the balloon then we put tape onto the straw to make the straw stay on it. Then we put the string through the straw and tied it to a desk. Then we let the balloon go so it inflated it raced along the string to the other side of it. It relates to change by inflating deflating and by going slow and fast and as the balloon goes down it changes position. There are two types of energy's they are elastic and gravitational energy. They are potential energy that is stored energy then it changes to kinetic energy.

My Cool Trophies!!

Every 2nd Sunday I go Go-Kart racing in Te Aroha. During the last season I won a lot of my races. I only started about 2 years ago and this year for the first time I won the Championship round out of my age group.

Prizegiving!!

Prizegiving!!

On Saturday evening I went to Go-Karts Prizegiving in Te-Aroha. When we got there I got a ticket for a free DRINK!! I got a L&P it was really fizzy like a bottle of coke being shaken up. After some people were playing pool while I was having dinner I was having Hotdogs,Nuggets and yummy coleslaw. Then we had dessert I had a scoop of ice cream and some fruit salad.

When we finished our drink we played pool to, it was really hard. After we started Prizegiving first all the kids came up to get a medal there called Cadets that’s me. During they started with the adults there is 5 groups of adults they don’t race together. First was the Shifters there the BEST group out of the whole thing!.

After they did all the adults then it was the kids turn. 1st place Max Hazelton 2nd Christen Richards and 3rd Jenna Bright this is for the Championship. They gave us a massive trophy I got the biggest one.

  Suddenly there was some music on everybody started dancing like CRAZY while we were playing pool again. Quietly we got another drink pass YAY!! I got a Ginger Beer. Happily  we went home on the way home it was 9:00 so we were tired when we got home we went straight to bed but we brushed our teeth of course. And that was the end of my CRAZY night!!

My Cool Project!!

How it works.

This Sellotape dispenser works by a spinning wheel in the middle that makes the tape spin around in a circle. And there is a serrated edge that makes the tape cut. Then there is a foam bottom that makes it not to slid around.

Density!!

Density?

We investigated whether a carrot will float or sink in water by adding a slice to a cup of water. Firstly it sunk but once we added salt to the water it floated. The reason for this is because the salt made the water more dense than the carrot.

Secondly we placed a can of Coke and Coke Zero in a bucket of water and we predicted which one would float. The Coke Zero floated and the Coke did not float. This is because the Coke has sugar and the water is more dense than the Coke Zero. I thought they would both float but the Coke did not float.

 

Thirdly we had a cup and we put some water in it then we got some oil and poured 2cms of it into the cup then we got some food coloring and put it in the cup then we waited some of the drops went through the oil and some did not go through. Then we put salt into the cup it went straight to the bottom then rose to the top to the oil because the salt has more density than the food coloring and the oil.

On Sunday I went to Super Go-karts and in one race I broke my cable that makes the acceleration go. It happened going around the corner that leads to the front straight another kart  went straight into the back of me and snapped it I was really angry because I couldn't race. Then it was lunch time my dad was fixing my kart I was helping dad so it would go faster. We managed to fix it in the end but it wasn't fully fixed because it was a bit short but it worked for that day. After that my friend and I went fishing for eels with his nylon we caught an eel.We hooked him in the mouth and then it was struggling too much and he got away and he still has the hook in him.My placings were 1st,4th,3rd and DNF.My mum did better than me she got a 5th,3rd,2nd and 8th.My dad got a really good race he got 4th,3rd,6th and 5th.Then we went up to the club rooms and got a drink.Then we went home and ordered fish & chips I got a hotdog  a chicken burger and some chips. My sister got a chicken burger and didn’t finish it and some chips. My dad got three pieces of fish a hotdog and some chips. My mum got two pieces of fish and some chips.And that was end of my day.

My Fun Holiday!!!

My Awesome Weekend
In the Awesome Holidays I went to my Grandma and Grandpa's Cool as Lodge with my friend Kieran.

It's in Waihi I really like the Lodge because we have our own radio and King Size Bed!!!!

On the way to round up the BULLS we were feeding out with all the hay. We were in the trailer. It was really bumpy and there was 50 BULLS!!!!

Once we got  them to the hill we couldn't get them up it!!! The trailer was to heavy to pull up the gigantic hill but 2 seconds later it fell of down the massive hill Grandpa said run to the Woolshed but Billy the horrifying goat was there he has got really big horns!

Then we went to the neighbours for dinner. We had a really nice Roast. Then we had Pudding we had Ice cream,Cake and Cheesecake.

The next day we went Shooting with a Rifle and  a 22 gun we hit a target and a petrol tank and that was the end of my Awesome Holiday!!!

JROCK 2014!!!!!

As we started to get in the car to go to Claudelands Arena everyone was really excited I went with my friend Kieran Devon & Ryan it was really fun when we got there we had to get in a line to get our bands.

Then we went to our room there was a boy and a girl side. We went to a competition that ASB was sponsoring it was a stacking race I won it I got a hacky sack I liked it.

Then we got back to the room we were hitting the hacky sack to each other then we started a game with these girls opposite us and heaps of people joined in it was really fun.

At 3:00 we got to rehearsal for our dance there was heaps of smelly smoke and a cold fan. I was really cold like a freezer. And there was really loud music.

Then it was time for our actual dance. I was so nervous. As I walked on I could see over 1500 people I was so nervous. I could see my family. Finally I did it. 

And that was the end of my NERVOUS night.

My Smashing Day!!

Rugby Funday
 The most hardest day of my life is about to start.As we head down Toby is making a big racket for half of the way there.Finally we get to cambell park and we start to run to where all the tents are set up.

First we set the tapoline up we have a big drink and some food.then we played a game of tackle the person.then we heard the bell that was our first game.

As we started I was a back my friend sterling got the ball and ran as hard as he could then he passed the ball to Devon and he got tackled hard then Jordan got the ball and he went for the try line but he got tacked then he passed it to Tyler and went for the line and got a try every one was really happy.

Then we kicked from the 22 line and they caught it then they did heaps of passing and got a try.then the bell went we had a 30 minute break why we watched the other teams.Nigel came and gave the player award first got it was Josh and then the bell went again for another game.

We were vs Morrinsville Primary they were really hard but we had a draw.then we had to wait another 30 minutes.why we waited the other team was another david st school playing franklin there a really good team then the bell went again for another game.this time i was a ford that get’s the most tackled I liked it in the ford’s because the team we were vs was a midget team there the small people but fast people too.

I got in some good tackle’s and try to do a blow-over it was really hard.We had another draw.

Then we were watching the other team the won!!Then Nigel came around and did the player award this time I was surprised because I got it this time.

About 2 hours later it was Prizegiving.It was an awesome day because I got a prize.And that was the end of my awesome day!!!!

I heard the paper crackling like the sea.

I smelt the salty air above me.

I saw the flipping snapper wiggling around.

I felt the slimy greasy snapper and paper.

I wondered if I ate it, it would wiggle.

In the Holidays I went to Te Miro on Waterworks road to go hard out  Mountain Biking.It took 20 mins to get there in the van.

When we got there their was only 2 cars and professional Mountain Bikers that bike for 5 HOURS I only went for 3 hours.

First we went down the PD Track which is a easy track at the start.Then we ZOOMED down a BIG hill that lead to a MASSIVE hill that went up luckily we had heaps of speed to get up.The hill was called the easy up but I think it should be called the hard up.

After that we went up a track called the SNAKE! I like the Snake because there’s heaps of side banks and Jumps.When we got to the bottom of the Snake we took a track that was called the Jumps Track I like the Jumps track because there’s heaps of BIG Jumps.

And that was the end of my Awesome day of Mountain Biking.

Water Safety!!

First I went to Mr Marks to the life jackets.We had to make sure they were nice and tight so they wouldn't go up in our face.Then we had to float on our back my legs kept sinking.

Then I went to Mrs Mark’s to the flotation device’s I was with my friend Damian.We used a chilly bin to float in.The chilly bin keeps spinning around so couldn't get grip.

Next I went to Mr Jackson we had to play shark attack which is a game.One person is the shark and the other person is the fish.Then we had to take our t-shirts of to

make it lighter so we don’t sink.

And last we went to Miss Drayson there were lots of ropes and that what we used.This time me and my friend Emerson went together.We used a rope I jumped into the pool and he chucked the rope out to me and he pulled me in. Then we got dressed and went back to school.

On Sunday i went to go-karts in Te Aroha.

All my family does it except my little sister.

On Sunday I got a 1st,4th,4th,3rd and a 3rd

overall.My Mum got a 6th, 3rd ,4th ,4th she

did really well.My Dad got a 3rd,4th,5th,6th

he did really well too.My friends race me.

Their names are: Jason,Jenna,Larz,Kieran and

Kieran we have 10 people in our group but

2 moved up into junior restricted they were

really good.Now we have 8 in our group.

            Go-karts is really fun!!

Rainbows End!!!!

Rainbows End on Saturday 22nd February.



On Saturday my family had a fun outing to Rainbows End which my grandparents paid for. My favourite rides were the Corkscrew Rollercoaster, Logflume, Gold rush. It was supposed to rain but luckily it didn't although it was really muggy. My sister was the only one on the free fall. I went on the
bumper karts with my family.

Tom as the manager explained the rules. First Mum and i went on

the waterside 10 times clinging on the mat splashing onto the

water and drifting away. Mum went on a kayak down the slide in

the deep water. Then we did the water tramp in the water on the

tramp was a mini blob and a slide that looked like a hot dog. And a long blue sausage floating on the water!

After that we went on the big big BLOB and i went flying

in the water when Regan my friend bounced me.

and my FAVORITE part was kayaking even though i

have never done it but it was AWESOME i back flipped

of my kayak it was a awesome.I got heaps of treats

as well as my Mum.We had a ice cream on the way home

i could bring my friends we didn't go on the bus on the way home i went in the car with Mum we had a awesome day at
