Tom and his friends, Derek and Marcus were playing in the freezing snow. Marcus was hiding behind a snow pile he had made. To aimed at the snow pile to knock it down. 3, 2, 1 SMASH. Kiwi Fruit

Kiwifruit is a New Zealand fruit that grows on trees. It is hairy on the outside and yummy and juicy on the inside. Because New Zealand is a kiwi country that is why it is called kiwifruit.

Uses

You can eat it at Breakfast if you want, lunch and maybe dinner. And for a little snack if you are hungry.

Warning

Kiwifruit can be really hard make sure you get the softish hardish ones.If you didn’t already know they are delicious and soft.

What a goal

It all started with a sunny, bright, warm day at the school with all my friends. I felt good and pumped up.

We started off with a game of Soccer. 3 on 3. My team kick off first yes Lochie over to the right wing. As I dribble up i’m looking for space to pass it to Kieran. That is on the left wing Kieran i’m going to cross it to your right foot. Bang into the goal. “I really went for it this time” said Kieran. 1 - 0.

Luke starts off with the ball dribbling it up the right line. He passes it to Jordy he kicks it as hard as he could into the goal. 1 - 1. Lochie boots it up the line to Kieran he aims it at my foot and I curl it into the goal. We run back to halfway.

By the next half an hour it is 7 - 6. We decided to stop there and go back to our flash houses, have a shower and chill.

Treehut

I've been waiting for my best friend Kieran to come over for the day. I was so happy because he brought his slingshot to my house. I showed him the Treehut. First we made it camouflaged with branches and twigs. We also made a bag that you can pull up with a rope it is 3 story 1st there is a wooden floor then a actual tree hut that is light green. Then it’s the third story. Kieran and I cleaned up the third story because it is the roof. It had heaps of leaves and sticks. Then we went back inside to have some lunch. We had pikelets with syrup and cream and in the afternoon we played on the PlayStation we had some chips and fruit we were playing NASCAR racing game then it was 4 o'clock. Mum started making dinner we had pasta bake with melted cheese on top. At 8 o’clock Kieran had to go home. It was a stunning day...

Explanation Of Moving.

Don’t you feel weird when you move house well we have moved classes. We now are in the Hall we now have Hubs. Hub 1 is RM 1 and 2 Hub 2 is RM 3 , 4 and 5 I am in Hub 2. We did a presentation on how we want to learn in the Hub. My group was called the Fast Build Designers we had a great plan but… It was not good enough to be in the top 2. But the Rocket Designers and the DSS Designs got in the top 2 I think that their plan is good and deserved to be in the top 2. It is new to everyone even the teachers because this has never happened. We are staying in the hall to the end of the year thats a long time…

Thermometer Project and Temperature!!!!

Lochie and I have been learning about Thermometers , How they work and what the have in them. The have a liquid called  Mercury and Alcohol.  Mercury and Alcohol grow bigger when they get hotter but when they get colder they in large ALOT. This has been very interesting and I have learnt alot.

Heres some more athletes they all stand on me SPLISH SPLOSH oh great now i’m in millions of little pieces. Phew the race is over now i’m all dry and hard. So much for a sunny day not. Don’t you just love having a awesome t-shirt to wear like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. Well I do!!!!!!! I strongly believe that I should get a T-shirt because… I really want one like seriously and they only cost like 30 dollars.

Firstly I am a soccer player and I like and play like Ronaldo / Messi. And we can go to a Barcelona FC soccer game and get it SIGNED!!!!

And it would also be really cool if I could if I can get a photo with Ronaldo or Messi.

If you don’t feel sorry for me yet then read this Secondly I would love to go to a Barcalona FC game and hopefully catch a ball. With all the signatures. And take it home put it on a stand to make it memorable.

And lastly if I had one I would look like I am a really big supporter or fan. And I would LOVE LOVE LOVE 5 passes to the 2018 FIFA world cup held in Russia that Ronaldo and Messi play in PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Can you get me ONE!!!!!

  Holidays Should Be Longer

Don’t you just love when you can have heaps of sleep and fun. Well I do!!!

I strongly believe that we should have 3 weeks not 2 so we can have more friends over and to visit more places. And if you were to go to your Nanas and Poppas house for 2 nights and you built a hut you wouldn't be able to go into it very long because you wouldn't have enough time. You wouldn't be able to outside or do the things you wanted to do.

Firstly the Holidays must be longer so we can do more things and go to more places like traveling. If you were to go overseas and stay a couple of days or weeks you would come back and you couldn't do any more fun activities or chill back. And you wouldn’t be board.

Secondly and if you were going back to school you would be really tired and and you couldn't think as well as you did in the recent term. And you wouldn't get all the thing you wouldn't want to do.

Lastly you would only get like 2 days to get friends over and to visit places. And the teachers wouldn't get enough time in the holidays because they have to do work and tidy the classroom.  

To wrap it all up I think you should have some good ideas for changing the school holidays to longer weeks.                        

100 Years Since War

On Tuesday all the Jrockers in the Waikato went to the Claudelands Arena in Hamilton. When we got to Claudelands we had to sit on seats or on the stone hard concrete. Then the manager told us we can come in and get our bands to show we were performing. After we got our bands we went to our room with 3 other schools. We played some games like Cards , Snap , Go Fish and Guess Who.

Then at 3:00 our school had 3 dress rehearsals. Some schools were watching our dress rehearsals. Then the next school were waiting for us to get of the stage so they can do there rehearsals. We went back to our room and eat something then it dinged to 5:00 we had Fish and Chips for dinner. We went back to our room and put our costumes and makeup on. Then the clock struck 7:00 and I said “This is the one”.

As I walk on the horrifying stage my heart is POUNDING. We get into our formations the crowd is waiting for us. I hear the music as I march on I am also very excited in a way. Then I turn to face the audience and silhouette. 2 seconds later I get into my HIP HOP position. I run out and start being AWESOME doing my star jumps , pushups , and my steady movement it’s all over… Till we do the dawn service and i’m on again I was hardly on stage this time because i’m at the very ends of the line. The I silently go to back to our room with my friend Kieran. Then I see my Mum , Dad , Sister , Nana and Poppa. Then I have to go home and go to sleep

Rugby

Yesterday I went to Campbell Park to play Rugby. When we got there we had to wait on the wet soggy grass. Then we got up and started walking over to the bank and laid out the tarpaulin we put our bags on it so it didn’t blow away. 40 mins later we had our first game. We won it 2-1. Then I got a drink from the sausage sizzle place and drank that. 30 mins later our 2nd game was on. We were on the same field all the time. We lost it about 7-0. Then we lost all the other games 3-0 and 5-0 and that was the end of my smashing game.

As we trekked up the windy steep road that took about 20 mins, we finally see the rocky old cliff face, everyone was so pumped up!!

At first we meet Damian and Jess who are the instructors who showed us how to attach our carabiners to our taught harness.

Then we smelt this terrifying smell. Damian said it was Percy the Possum. Damian said just walk past it. So we headed for Papa Bear and Mama Bear. It was so high up. When I got to Papa Bear I was as scared as a chicken.

10 mins later my heart was pounding. Damian wrapped the rope and carabiners around my harness. Finally I crept down the rocky cliff face. I hear my friends cheering on saying “Go Max you can do it”.

As I go down the hardest part my shaking legs are slipping. I'm thinking “What’s the best way to do this?”. I get down it then I jump down the rest of the way. Mr Mitchell unhooked my carabiners and I hop across the stream to my friends. I got my foot wet but that didn't matter at least I got to the bottom. I felt like I my legs were going to fall of.

Last Friday we had a Pumpkin day at our school. It started at 9:00 and went till 10:40. Mr Harrop our Principle handed out the certificates for the Heaviest Pumpkin , Best Dressed Pumpkin Juniors , Best Dressed Pumpkin Middle , Best Dressed Pumpkin Senior’s. Then everyone clapped and cheered for the people that were lucky enough to get a certificate. After that everyone had a good look at the Pumpkins and choose their favourite pumpkin.

Rippa Rugby

On the 24th of February we did Rippa Rugby with Sport Waikato we did it with a man his name was Michael. He taught us how to put our belts on and our tags. Then he pointed out the cones. First we started with a warm up. We started just ripping tags of people belts. Then we started the real game. In the first 5 mins I got 5 tags. Then for the other 25 mins I got about 8 but then the other people stole about 5 tags. Then we had to stop we said bye to Michael and went back to class it was lunch time.

Mountain Biking

In the Holidays I went to Te Miro on Waterworks road to go hard out  Mountain Biking.It took 20 mins to get there in the van.

When we got there their was only 2 cars and professional Mountain Bikers that bike for 5 HOURS I only went for 3 hours.

First we went down the PD Track which is a easy track at the start.Then we ZOOMED down a BIG hill that lead to a MASSIVE hill that went up luckily we had heaps of speed to get up.The hill was called the easy up but I think it should be called the hard up.

After that we went up a track called the SNAKE! I like the Snake because there’s heaps of side banks and Jumps.When we got to the bottom of the Snake we took a track that was called the Jumps Track I like the Jumps track because there’s heaps of BIG Jumps.

And that was the end of my Awesome day of Mountain Biking.

My Fun Holiday!!!

My Awesome Weekend
In the Awesome Holidays I went to my Grandma and Grandpa's Cool as Lodge with my friend Kieran.

It's in Waihi I really like the Lodge because we have our own radio and King Size Bed!!!!

On the way to round up the BULLS we were feeding out with all the hay. We were in the trailer. It was really bumpy and there was 50 BULLS!!!!

Once we got  them to the hill we couldn't get them up it!!! The trailer was to heavy to pull up the gigantic hill but 2 seconds later it fell of down the massive hill Grandpa said run to the Woolshed but Billy the horrifying goat was there he has got really big horns!

Then we went to the neighbours for dinner. We had a really nice Roast. Then we had Pudding we had Ice cream,Cake and Cheesecake.

The next day we went Shooting with a Rifle and  a 22 gun we hit a target and a petrol tank and that was the end of my Awesome Holiday!!!

Prizegiving!!

Prizegiving!!

On Saturday evening I went to Go-Karts Prizegiving in Te-Aroha. When we got there I got a ticket for a free DRINK!! I got a L&P it was really fizzy like a bottle of coke being shaken up. After some people were playing pool while I was having dinner I was having Hotdogs,Nuggets and yummy coleslaw. Then we had dessert I had a scoop of ice cream and some fruit salad.

When we finished our drink we played pool to, it was really hard. After we started Prizegiving first all the kids came up to get a medal there called Cadets that’s me. During they started with the adults there is 5 groups of adults they don’t race together. First was the Shifters there the BEST group out of the whole thing!.

After they did all the adults then it was the kids turn. 1st place Max Hazelton 2nd Christen Richards and 3rd Jenna Bright this is for the Championship. They gave us a massive trophy I got the biggest one.

Suddenly there was some music on everybody started dancing like CRAZY while we were playing pool again. Quietly we got another drink pass YAY!! I got a Ginger Beer. Happily  we went home on the way home it was 9:00 so we were tired when we got home we went straight to bed but we brushed our teeth of course. And that was the end of my CRAZY night!!

NITRO CIRCUS!!!!

Nitro Circus!!!

On the 30th of January Mum , Dad and I went to NITRO CIRCUS!!!! It is freestyle Motocross , Skateboarding , BMX. Then there’s the Bathtub , Snowmobile ,  Lazyboy Chair , Rollerskates that’s most of it… First the had the Introduction. All the motorbikes went out and did BACKFLIPS then they came in and the host started talking for about 5 mins

Then the BMX bikes and the skateboards went out and did a whole lot of tricks!! Travis Pastrana chose 3 volunteers to do motorbike trick. They ended up doing a 4 person backflip which they just managed to land right before the person at the back slipped off!

There was also a couple of injuries including WHEELZ who is in a wheelchair and hurt his neck trying to land a front flip.
